ADAM GOLDSTEIN
Creative Director / Commercial Director
In a career that has spanned agencies, disciplines, and continents, Adam Goldstein has earned acclaim as a creative director, copywriter, commercial director and screenwriter. His work has been honored with every major advertising award, as well as a literal ton of minor lucite ones, and rather hazardous stack of those bird-men from the London Internationals.
A new business juggernaut, Adam has led pitches and authored campaigns responsible for over $1 billion in account wins. (MasterCard, Burger King, Epson, AOL, E*Trade and more.)
Marrying savvy financial stewardship and creative excellence, as executive creative director at Ammirati & Puris, Adam built a three person squad into a 35 person juggernaut responsible for 55% of the agency's billings and 75% of its awards, managing clients including UPS, GMC Trucks, RCA, Labatt's USA (Rolling Rock, Dos Equis, Labbat Blue.)
Turning to directing, Adam continued to combine creative skill and budget management, winning numerous awards while frequently coming in well under budget. His campaign for Rozerem was named one of the Top Pharma Spots of the Millenium, and was featured in a variety of media, including late night TV, The Simpsons, The Sopranos, as well as only venue to truly impress his father, a New Yorker Cartoon.
At Ogilvy/Paris, Adam partnered with the global ECD to manage IBM EMEA. And at BBDO/NY, he managed the E*Trade, Office Depot, and AOL accounts, in addition to working on Pepsi, Lay's, Charles Schwab, and Visa. He was also instrumental in creating the successful and long-running Relax, It's FedEx campaign under ECD Gerry Graf.
From soft drinks to science, from running a creative group to running a set, whether creating work himself, guiding teams, or building agencies, Adam's broad experience, commitment to craft, and perennial optimism continue to make him a valued partner and versatile creative asset.
